Edgeworth Childcare Centre Inc. is a Long Day Care Centre that has been established in the community since 1989. We are a 39 place community based, not for profit centre which means that all our finances go back into the children, families and the centre.
We are managed by a committee made up of parents and active community members. Our policies and programs are based upon the regulations set out by family and community services as well as an Meeting rating from the National Quality Framework Regulator.
We embrace the Early Learning years framework and this is the basis for our curriculum.
Our Centre is divided into two rooms the Early Learners room and Preschool room.
Early Learners Room
Our Early Learners room caters for children from 8 weeks to 3yrs , we have 5 places for 0-2yr old children and 10 places for 2-3yr olds.
We promote an active interest based program that reflects your child’s individual strengths and needs.
Preschool Room
Our Preschool room caters for 3-5 year olds. There are up to 24 children in this room per day. We have an extensive school readiness program and this builds a solid foundation of knowledge as your child enters kindergarten.
